Haha my roommate at IU is going to bring his PS2; he already got the game. We're going to go half on the internet adapter for the PS2. We'll definitely have to play some games this fall. I'll keep you posted. This game is bad ass.

awesome.......I don't even know who my roomate is yet,

I have to pick up the network adapter before i get down to school. Last year for whatever reason my roommate couldn't hook it up in our apartment. I think it had something to do with the connection, but who knows. I've never tried it before. This year, new apartment, hopefully i can get it to work. Steve if you want to help set it up, if you know what you are doing, you can help me out. How much is the network adapter? And is there anything else i need?

Well, I kinda know what I'm doing......Network adapters are $40.

How far away would the PS2 be from the computer?

If it's close, you can just unplug the cable going from your modem to your PC and put it in your ps2. If it's far....a router is probably your best bet.

Probly close, i'll have a TV in my room as well as the front room so i'll use that one to play online. Can you still be on AIM and the internet and such if you are playing PS2 online?

if you have a router yes....if you just unplug the cable from your PC and put it into the PS2, no.

Alright a router is something i'll look into then

Thanks for the help, i'm certainly not a computer expert

Well, guys, wish me luck - It's off to the DMV to see if CWSGuy can pass the driving test. And then when I get home, it's off to the basement for some more NCAA 2005... :headbang

Dont worry its the easiest thing youll ever do

Just don't do anything stupid or do anything too lazily and you'll be fine

Someone should pin this thread, just like the MVP one is pinned. Or take the MVP one down and replace it with this, since i think this will be more popular.

good luck :headbang

i had a waiver, just walked in, took my picture, got my license.

Best thing ever.

I just finished my 2nd game, beat UCLA 14-3.

Some notes:

- There is a big difference in the way the crowd is when you play a better opponent. When i played florida A&M, it was ridiciulously quiet. Against UCLA, it was way better, not too great though.

-I'm still not positive about the whole celebration thing, I can't figure out the timing.

-Passing is ridiciulously hard. I think i'm averaging like 50 pass yards a game, to like 200 rushing yards. Oh well, it's like that for me with every new version, takes some time to get used to.

My driver test was so easy. Down the street, and to back around the corner, and downhill park. Had no idea what I was doing for downhill parking, like all the rules, and they still passed me.

UP and away

i can't believe i still remember that.
