If that's the reasoning, it doesn't exactly work. How'd the Sox fare against Minnesota last year? Not well, IIRC. This Sox team is doing a pretty good job against Minnesota in 2004. Things change.

 

Hell, I know some of you don't want to accept it, but maybe Frank has changed for the better too. Nah, that's not possible; Frank will forever be the crabby player he was a couple of years ago. Just because you don't want to believe it, doesn't mean it's not true.

Frank has been an asset this year, no doubt. The dude has broken bone in his foot for Crissake! ... He's never "laid down" before. He's injured and would hurt the team more than he could help right now.

I knew I was going to hate this thread when I say it.  I should have went with my gut instincts and skipped it.  Personally, I have no problem with either Maggs or Frank for not being there.  If you're disabled, take some time and get away from the game and the travel. 

 

Nor so I have a problem with Ozzie or Jose.  They had an opinion and expressed it.
