Anybody who thinks that Carl Everett is the answer is out to lunch. After watching Maggs the last few days it looks like a stint in the minors would have been a good idea. Carlos Beltran anybody? Leaving a cookie right over the heart of the plate to Crosby didn't help much either. He's one of the best pitchers in the majors, and with our struggling O, three runs should have got it done.
