July 23, 200421 yr I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if Timo didn't make that diving catch in the bottom of the 2nd inning tonight, the tale of the tape could have very well been much different and maybe not even in our favor. For those of you who missed it, the ball appeared as if it was going to hit down and go all the way to the wall, since there was nobody backing Timo up in RF. But, Timo dove and grabbed it in the webbing of his glove right before it hit the ground. At the time, we had a 1-0 lead, and they had runners on 1st and 2nd. Both of these runners would've scored had Timo not made the catch, giving Cleveland a 2-1 lead and possibly a different outcome to the game. Timo, you did your job once again! Props are headded your way!
July 23, 200421 yr Timo has been awesome. I made a thread a few weeks back sayin I had to eat a s*** load of crow. I was one that wasn't too happy with Timo's play earlier in the season. He's been fantastic the last 2 months or so.
July 23, 200421 yr Definitely a web gem. Hell on BBTN, they were actaully prasing our team which I was very surprised of. (Pretty much saying we are very versitile, aggressive, power hitting, speed, and got some pitching)
July 23, 200421 yr I was SOOOO happy that wasn't Gload in RF at the time. Great catch by Timo tonight.
July 23, 200421 yr I was SOOOO happy that wasn't Gload in RF at the time. Great catch by Timo tonight. It would have been an inside the park homerun most likely.
July 23, 200421 yr From what I saw on the highlights, that turned the game around. Gotta give it up to Timo.
July 23, 200421 yr No doubt about it. Nice catch by Timo and I give him a lot of credit for such an excellent catch. BTW, Ross Gload sucks ass. Bases loaded and he grounds into a DP :puke
July 23, 200421 yr TIMO! By the way I was actually glad Gload grounded into the Double Play because otherwise Shingo wouldn't of gotten the save....
