BridgeportHeather Posted July 23, 2004 Share Posted July 23, 2004 I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if Timo didn't make that diving catch in the bottom of the 2nd inning tonight, the tale of the tape could have very well been much different and maybe not even in our favor. For those of you who missed it, the ball appeared as if it was going to hit down and go all the way to the wall, since there was nobody backing Timo up in RF. But, Timo dove and grabbed it in the webbing of his glove right before it hit the ground. At the time, we had a 1-0 lead, and they had runners on 1st and 2nd. Both of these runners would've scored had Timo not made the catch, giving Cleveland a 2-1 lead and possibly a different outcome to the game. Timo, you did your job once again!
