No he doesn't.  On a ball to RF a runner on first should be halfway.

If the Sox were tied or down a run, then Gload should have been tagging. However, when down 3 runs, you can't afford to even risk an out like he did there.

I'm in the Burke bandwagon. That throw to end the top of the 6th was nice :headbang

If you are tied or down one run you would not waste a run by have GLOAD tag from first.

Al Levine with a 4.55 ERA. Let's take advantage of that and score some runs.

Come on Crazy Carl. Hit one out of the ballpark!

What I meant is that it's more important for Gload to get into scoring position in a tighter game.

Lee stops at 2nd, maybe his earlier foot injury slowing him down

inning over

I hate it when the Sox hit into douple plays. Mostly when we have someone at 1st and 2nd trying to tie the game up.

That hurts...

I'll say :stick

Carlos should have kicked that ball. No way the Tigers werent turning 2 on that grounder. I was thinking that same thing in the 8th inning vs the Rangers last week. Oh well, it's an intriguing thought that is never seen.
