ESPN Stat He gets a break in the NL because the 6,7,8 hitters are weaker, and the 9th is the pitcher. Also with runners on base BA against is almost .290. Also after pitch 75, the BA against him is over .320, meaning that he rarely can go into even the 7th inning. Hes a good 5th starter in the AL, but if your rotation is going to depend on him, youll have a lot of problems. SB

Boers and Bernstein said that George Offman said that he's heard that while the White Sox will not be spending big bucks with any trade pickup, the Sox are interested in obtaining Corey Lidle. Also said that Guardado turned down the chance to be traded to the Indians. Pass
July 26, 200421 yr revisiting the RJ idea... if we get him that means we would have a 123 of the unit burly garcia for this year, and next year as well thats pretty crazy but, that also means that we lose out on garland and have s*** for a #4 and #5 starter next year wed also have to give up rowand or crede.... its a tough call
