Gammons

Featured Replies

For all the Gammons lovers who want to see what he really knows go to ESPN.com. In one article he says the D-Backs and Dodgers agreed to a deal but Johnson said no way to LA. In another he says Johnson has ok'd LA but the DBacks and Dodgers are far apart in regards to players. These articles are published within 3 days of each other and are both on the website.

As much as I like Peter for being a Tar Heel. He's completely nuts. :bang

Also they could have talked Randy into accepting a trade to LA.

9-10 times he is wrong and the one time he is right it was nothing more than just a lucky guess.

Gammons has every GM's number in his cell phone. He reports what he hears or is told from GM's. If a trade he reports doesn't go down, it is not like he is making it up. The deal fell through. He doesn't just make up deals for the sake of people listening.

Johnson has approved a deal and the Dbacks are now backpedalling.

the "Blind Squirrel" theory.

I wonder if some of his "sources" leak inaccurate information to him just so watch him look goofy when the story falls apart.

I know I would.... :D
