September 2, 200421 yr I'm 1-0 in these Threads. Let's make it 2-0. I have a feeling Jose will be dominating.
September 2, 200421 yr I'm 1-0 in these Threads. Let's make it 2-0. I have a feeling Jose will be dominating. Not to be a nitpicking little b**** ( cuz I am NOT little ), but shouldn't it be "dominant"? As in "Contreras is dominating A's hitters today." "Yes, he certainly has been dominant today."
September 2, 200421 yr Yep, The game has started... /waits for some one to venture into the gamethread "it's a day game today?"
September 2, 200421 yr A's go up 2-0 after a leadoff walk and a 2 run HR from THE Billy McMillion. Top of the 3rd on the southside.
September 2, 200421 yr Why is Valentin still playing? Uribe should be playing SS, and Willie should be playing 2b. Only this organization could screw up playing people for the future. At least Borchard and Crede are getting playing time.

September 2, 200421 yr Good to hear... sounds like two days in a row of good baseball. Maybe these guys are catching on finally.
September 2, 200421 yr Author Maybe this is what we need to start a little streak. Let's keep it up!!
September 2, 200421 yr What's going on in the game. the Gamecast are all froze, and I am stuck here at work
September 2, 200421 yr Hawk seems to be waning on the nicknames lately. No good ones in awhile. Joe B? C'mon, Hawk, you can do better than that.
September 2, 200421 yr 4-2, top Sixth. Damian Miller just hit a double to score Hatteberg. Contreras out, Cotts in.
September 2, 200421 yr Neal Cotts closes the door again. Can you imagine how much better his numbers would be if he had anyone following him out of the pen besides Mike Jackson? Geesh. Neal has looked like a new man the last few outings.
September 2, 200421 yr Something tells me that Cotts will be our 5th starter for next year. He’s been kicking ass for some while but I sure as hell don’t want to see him in our starting rotation for next year. With the cheapness this organization can have, he may end up as a SP. Hopefully we’ll sign a good FA instead.
September 2, 200421 yr More than half of Neal's "wild pitches" are with Davis behind the plate. Coincidence? I think not.
September 2, 200421 yr Up to the minute stats on Neal... his ERA is down to 4.82. and his BAA is .226 27 Inheritted Runners - 5 scored -- 81% runners stranded.
