Nice going. :usa

ohh no, I am torn on who to cheer for. The country in which I live or the country from which my heritage comes from.

Go USA :usa :usa :usa

Go Canada!!!! :canada :canada :canada

I'm pretty sure if Canada beats Slovakia tonight, then the US plays Finland and Canada plays the Czechs. If Slovakia wins (not likely), then the US would play Czech Republic and Finland would play Slovakia.

Hockey is a crazy game. I think more than any other sport, a bad bounce or two, coupled with a hot goalie, can have a huge surprise happen.

Granted I am not saying that Canada will lose, but the hockey gods are a fickle bunch.

Actually, ss2k... do you remember Mike from Cinci (Divorceki)?

He moved to Minni and has two tickets to tomorrow's game. That would be cool as hell, but not as cool as going to the Stanley Cup finals. My next mission is to go to the game where they skate the Cup. But that will probably have to wait until 2006 at this rate.

That was my point, mostly. Canada will win, and the US will play Finland, not the Czechs.

yeah sorta. And you are right about that being an awesome opportunity. I know I would kill to see the World Series. But if I ever want to do that, it will be in another city. :bang

I know you didn't ask me, but I remember him from the "inthecrease.com" boards...

wow, small world :)

Finland says, that's how the f*** we do.

MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKKA stands tall again.

I bet on Finland before it started, 5 to win 75. We'll see what happens against Canada.

I really enjoyed watching the Fin's play. Rooted for both the Ruutu bro's, and just really liked the way they played the game. I will be rooting for them against Canada.

Di - friggin - tto. :)

Ruutu is awesome. :headbang
