October 3, 200421 yr The most impressive thing about this upset was that NU actually outplayed Ohio St. It wasn't one of those upsets where the underdog stuck with the juggernaut for 3 1/2 quarters and then got lucky in the end.

October 4, 200421 yr I was at the last field-rushing at NW, against Michigan...the infamous A-Train fumble game. I think that was the last field rush, correct me if i'm wrong. Both games were epic.

October 4, 200421 yr Yeah, that was one of those games that, as a Northwestern fan, I remember where I was throughout that game. We went out to eat and the restuarant we were at had the game on. When they won the whole place started applauding and cheering, it was great. I don't know if NU had charged the field in between yesterday and that game, but they might have during the upset of a then ranked Wisconsin team last year. I doubt it was anywhere near as big. I always say good things happen when the 'Cats play night home games.
October 4, 200421 yr The Michigan game was just an all around amazing game, and being at both last night and the Michigan game I can tell you which game was better and it was easily the Michigan game. maybe its my hatred for Michigan, but that game was just unbelievable.

October 4, 200421 yr I watched last nights game and it was great. Then, this morning at IHOP we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table because the OSU fan bus had just rolled in ahead of us. They almost made me late for the Bears game.
