Hmmm, sounds like a time that Sosa would have wanted to entertain his fans. I think he was on deck with a corked bat.

I don't think he'd take that chance again. Even Sosa is not that stupid.

Is he? :huh

Sosa is not that stupid he would like to keep the few fans he has left i am sure.

Please he corked it all season.

He corked his bats all year. They just pretended not to see it.

Apparently, Sosa showed up two hours late to the game, packed his stuff and bailed. He was as responsible for the Cubs collapse as anyone. But, as always with Sosa, it's all about him. He showed his true colors to all those adoring Cub fans and those colors are yellow on yellow. Quitter, coward, cheat. Now there's a legacy all Cub fans can be proud of. He's their hero!

I think most real Cub fans have tired of his act as has much of the media. His time in Chicago is winding down.

Definately. There is no way he gets resigned by the Cubs after his current deal is up.

I would bet the Scrubs are stuck with Corky. Who wants a crybaby making 17 Million, who is hardly a fraction of the player he once was?

I guess I should have put "He's their hero" in green. Sometimes what you think is obvious sarcasm, isn't quite so obvious.

Scamming Sam-ME So-So's arrogance has surfaced in the media this morning. Back title on Chicago Sun Time's reads: SAMMY SLAMS DUSTY.

His quote concerning Dusty Baker is, "I'm tired of being blamed by Dusty Baker for all the failures of this club. I resent the inference that i'm not prepared."

Arrogant gladiator has the balls to question Baker after he's the supposed captain. Captains don't show up late for final games, refuse to dress in uniform, then leave early. And the Baker quote which angered Sosa?

"I'd want him back if....he's got to go to work this winter. Get in tip-top shape mentally and physically. It's a big year for him."

Listening to Mariotti on ESPN 1000, Jay and Carmen DeFalco have suggested Mets GM may be interested. I sure hope this isn't the case. Let the Cubs sulk in Corkilicious' 17 million dollar contract and cancerous clubhouse attitude. Anyone who frees the Northside 'Magician' Jim Hendry of Sammy needs to be fired. GM's across the league simply need to ignore any offers and allow Cubs to suffer through another year with the moron.

I don’t even think he’ll be playing baseball after his current contract is up. How old is he going to be by that time? 40?
