There should be a central clearing house like with Student Aid. Fill out one form and they will send it anywhere.

Amen.

Two things that helped me:

1. Gathering all the information I needed and having it in one place.

2. Having a mom who knew I couldn't possibly fill out those forms ;)

how many are you filling out?

i only applied to 3 schools last year, so it wasn't too bad

Good Luck. If you think you may be borderline, pay a lot of attention to filling out everything correctly.

If for some reason you are not successful in getting into your 1st Choice, find out about alternate enrollment options. I was turned down by one college and after I submitted letters from the Principal and a couple teachers they ultimately accepted me.

BTW, they actually do have a 'common application' that numerous schools use. Of course, most don't use this, but it's a start. And, yeah, the Michigan app is a f***ing b****.

1. Go to College of DuPage

Haha, that's like 5 minutes from my house.

My bro went there and then trasnfered to Western Illinois.

Yes it is...

:nono The best is the first community college in the U.S; Joliet Junior College. ;) It was established in 1901 with six course offerings being held at Joliet Township High School (now Joliet Central.) I went there for a couple of years before transfering to U of I. I didn't know what I wanted to major in, and I saved a ton of money by going there. I also think the teaching methods there were a hell of alot better than U of I. I'm not learning anything here.

Are their school colors stil green and yellow? I remember back in the early 80s they wore the ugliest green and yellow shorts and shirts for cross country.

I went to Daley Community College back in Sept 1994 - May 1996 and then went to UIC. That doesn't count the Daley course I took while in HS. :)

I am applying to 4.
