I think a lot of the "too close to call" stems from 2000 and most of the stations are not going to come out and call a state until they are positive that it was called correctly.

I can guarantee you that both of the early OH and FL results are from predominantly rural areas which get counted much quicker. If Bush is to win those states he needs big leads which will erode once the urban votes start coming in.
