November 2, 200421 yr We have statues of the Old Roman and Minnie, my vote for the next tribute be to Shoeless Joe, the man Babe Ruth called the best player in the game.
November 2, 200421 yr I know this may be unpopular since he went into the Hall of Fame with a Red Sox hat, but I'd like to see a Fisk statue
November 2, 200421 yr I know this may be unpopular since he went into the Hall of Fame with a Red Sox hat, but I'd like to see a Fisk statue Me too! My favorite player of all time. A Jackson statue oughta' be ahead of him though.
November 2, 200421 yr A Fox/Apparicio tandem statue should be next, no doubt about it. I agree. Then we can put up an Oscar Gamble statue...although the 'fro would probably block the sun for anyone within a 5 mile radius.
November 2, 200421 yr Author I agree. Then we can put up an Oscar Gamble statue...although the 'fro would probably block the sun for anyone within a 5 mile radius. Or maybe a Paciorek statue, the huge ass could act as a retractable roof.
November 2, 200421 yr A Karkovice statue would be nice, but carving those craters into his face would probably take too long.
November 2, 200421 yr Joe J HAS to be next. We can have a Frank Statue next year too if we trade Konerko and put Frank at first.
November 2, 200421 yr A Fox/Apparicio tandem statue should be next, no doubt about it. I like that idea. Damn I wish I could have seen those two play up the middle. All I know is that that was the finest 2B-SS combo in White Sox history. That would be a pleasure to see.

That would be a pleasure to see. Better than Bee Bee Richard and Luis Alvarado? Talk about a great 'fro, Luis Alvarado had one bigger than Oscar Gamble.
November 3, 200421 yr I like that idea. Damn I wish I could have seen those two play up the middle. All I know is that that was the finest 2B-SS combo in White Sox history. That would be a pleasure to see. I agree. That's the best idea I've heard yet. Also, I don't see anyway in hell they put up a Joe Jackson statue as long as he is HOF ineligble.
November 3, 200421 yr I like the ideas of the Fox/Apparicio, Shoeless, and Frank statues. All need to be made. I love Frank, but think it would be a bit too soon to put up a Frank statue. I'd at least wait till he hits 500 homers if not till when he retires (would make for a nice retirement ceremony) or soon thereafter...
November 3, 200421 yr A Karkovice statue would be nice, but carving those craters into his face would probably take too long. LOL very true.

November 4, 200421 yr I agree. Then we can put up an Oscar Gamble statue...although the 'fro would probably block the sun for anyone within a 5 mile radius. What? No Dibber statue?!
November 4, 200421 yr Put up a Royce Clayton statue on the LF concourse. That would give Frank a target.
