The thing is...it all depends on the upgrade. If they are buttons for this version....I dunno they might not match up to version 2. That and I don't have the upload info anymore.....damn Jason anyways....

I really don't like the idea of an ignore button.

 

Not only will you be ignored but it will lead to a controversy as well.

 

You want to take away freedom of speech...why?

 

If you don't want to read what someone says, then don't read it.

Read up on freedom of speech. It has nothing to do with a privately owned message board.

 

A spot like this can be held liable for the content that appears on the board, so they have the right to stop what they deem as unfit.

 

And as to your last line of your post, an ignore feature on the board is actually much more representive of real life. If there is a controversial author that you don't like, no one forces you to look at their writings. But if you just happened to be scrolling down a thread, there is nothing to stop the writings of someone you have no interest in reading from popping up on your screen. An ignore button fills a service for the posters here. Also if used properly, it could prevent problems, as people don't like each other and look for reasons to argue, can now ignore each other, and never know that anything was said.
