November 28, 200421 yr George is making the minimum, and its worth it to see if he can play. IMO, this is more a tryout for next year. If George can still play, and that is a HUGE if, he's a much better option as a back up than Quinn, Krenzel, and Hutchinson. Hutchinson must really suck if they are still afraid to put him in the game, after the performance of the first 2 clowns. Sometimes you appreciate things a little more after they are taken away from you, and maybe George appreciates football now, and won't be the cancer he has been in the past.
November 28, 200421 yr It's worth a try. 10-30, 100 yards, 1TD, 2 INT, 1 fumble a game isn't cutting it. The guy has talent, he was just an assclown. If he got his act together, he could be a productive QB.

Injuries really are a b****... Losing Grossman was a HUGE blow. It also made it crystal clear that we had no backup that was worth a damn. The losses on defense wouldn't have been nearly as bad if we had an O that could keep them off the field for more than 5 minutes in a whole game. /exaggerating the 5 minute thing but not by much.

November 30, 200421 yr If the two year nobody wants you era for Jeff George didnt work for Jeff George than nothing will. He's a talented QB... and lets hope he takes his LAST CHANCE in the NFL seriously and tries maybe mentoring Chad Craig and Rex to keep earning that paycheck.
