November 30, 200421 yr With a St. Louis loss tonight, here are the standings for the sixth and final spot for the NFC Playoffs: Rams 5-5 ------------------ 0 Giants 5-6 -------------- .5 (Cardinals, Bucs, Saints, Panthers, Lions, Bears, Cowboys) -- All are 4-7, one and a half game back. Redskins 3-8 ------------ 2.5 Really, really terrible, but 7-9 might be good enough to get any of the above teams into the playoffs. Personally, I think the Panthers are rollin', and I think they'll make a comeback to grab the spot. Pisses me off that the Bears couldn't take down friggin' Dallas, though... It's also a b**** that so many injuries had to occur, but oh well, that's football. Kinda sucks though that there will be at least three teams in the AFC with better records than that sixth spot in the NFC, yet don't get in the playoffs...
November 30, 200421 yr I do think it's funny that the Bills are 5-6 and are out of the playoff picture in the East, yet in the NFC a team like the Bears at 4-7 still has a good shot at the playoffs if they win out. Oh well, the Bills won on the road yesterday. I'm happy.

STL is 5-6 which means the bears are only 1 game out of the playoffs not 1.5
November 30, 200421 yr STL is 5-6 which means the bears are only 1 game out of the playoffs not 1.5 If the bears make the playoffs some how they would lose about 70-2.
November 30, 200421 yr If the bears make the playoffs some how they would lose about 70-2. It would be way worse then that.
November 30, 200421 yr I guess that's why they beat the NFC North potential champs and a NY team on the cusp of the playoffs as well...

November 30, 200421 yr Joking...probably should have put one of these guys in there... Alright, it's cool, but with some of the Bears bashing that goes around...ya never know...
