Saw this on WhiteSoxInteractive, thought I'd post it here. Ryan Meaux was released from the Sox today..that leaves a spot open on our 40 man roster......perhaps something will go down in the next few days?

Ya, its on the FS board. This could mean they put in a waiver claim on Pyrz or that they could make a 2 for 1 deal or a FA signing. Or it could be Kenny knows he's going to make another move sooner or later so just free up the roster now.

Nah Keith, I think we were excited for nothing. Won't be Ginter, its going to be some type of organizational prospect, meaning they will likely be getting nothing but roster fodder.
