DBAHO
Found this in Ken Rosenthal's latest piece; The Astros inquired about Diamondbacks 1B Shea Hillenbrand, figuring they also could play him at third and in left. The team also considered trading RHP Wade Miller for OF Carlos Lee before Lee went to the Brewers. . . .

Gene Honda Civic
But you are forgetting Luis Vizcaino and the magical PTBNL who is probably Ben Sheets, ya know. Actually it's JJ Hardy. That fills our SS hole, which seemed to be priority #1 this off-season
SoxAce
I would have rather traded with the Stros but what's done is done.

Rex Hudler
I'd be very happy with JJ Hardy....... would take Lou Palmisano too, as well as a few others, of course.
AnthraxFan93
But, I heard rumors both here and other boards that the astros were looking to non-tenure Miller, if that is the case that would be a wasted trade IMO.
winninguglyin83
Nope, player to be named later is Robin Yount.

AnthraxFan93
Is wade miller going to be non tendered? Sorry dont know much about him but his stats w-l and strikeouts look good. Was he injured? Yeah he was injuried the past 2 seasons.. If healthy can win you 15-18 games..but that is a big if. If he is non-tenured, I would love to see him as the Sox #3. Hell I don't think there is anyone here that would not love to see him there. Miller Stats
