Problem with espn.com

Featured Replies

Alright, so I'm using Mozilla, and I am on espn.com and I click MLB and then this pops up...

Any suggestions?

What the f***?

Now it works fine.

were you clickin on the bottom of the page where it has links to other stories? cause it was doin that for me yesterday

It's sparatic.

Even if I get into the MLB section, and click on stats, then it won't work either.

I can't check their message boards from my house. I use a Mac and go with internet explorer and it won't allow me to look at their message boards...odd as hell because I can check anything else on there....

Its not a mozilla issue its an issue with ESPN.com. However, that said I was able to get it work last night when talking with qwerty.

Yeah I was talking to qwerty about it last night, he had the same problem.

It just started up for me today.

espn usually runs really slow for me. i think it has to do with something with a conflict between plugin or applet or something needed to view espn and norton internet security...

edit: but that's the worse its ever done is load slow...

To get ESPN insider articles for free, use this format.

lite.espn.go.com/mlb/columnist?id=$$$$

Replace $$$$$$$ with insider story id number

--- example ---

http://proxy.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/story?id=1961471

should be changed to

lite.espn.go.com/mlb/columnist?id=1961471

Oh and you're welcome

I have just been using the Bugmenot extension for FireFox for Insider, and it has worked great so far.

I thought you do not get the full artcles? I know i never did.

Hmm...Anyone seen the new team pages for the MLB teams on ESPN.com? I went to the ChiSox page, and thought my internet went evil on me for a second. Apparently, they've only changed MLB pages so far.

just looked it up. pretty plain compared to what they had, but at least it should have faster load times...

Agreed. It looks a little weird right now, but looking at some of the links on how the layout is, it looks like it'll be pretty convienent after you get used to it.
