My vote goes to the Padres

As long as we're dreaming here... might as well pick the Cubs, so we can kick their asses in person. :fthecubs

Giants

The red Sox played the Cardnials... :D

Shut up. You sound like a damn Cub fan. At least proclaim that, "This year is OUR year," before prognosticating WS match-up's involving a team that hasn't won a WS since '17 and hasn't been in a WS since '59.

Maybe some year the White Sox will be in a World Series, but honestly analyze this team player by player. Compare to last years playoff teams. It's always possible for most of your key players to have career years, but that and some additional luck is what it's going to take for this team to make it to the Fall Classic.

Yeah this whole thread feels a little cubby. Yech I'm gonna go take a shower and wash this blue off.

Anybody BUT the Cubs! It should be our time!!! :fight

Cubs, of course.

You meant the Crosstown Series, right?

I have to agree. I don't like this thread.

In 3-4 years you mean?

I'd vote for the Padres. I think their team is developing a lot like ours is, and I really like what both clubs are doing.

But if you're talking about in 2005, you should get that notion out of your head right now so you can just enjoy the season and not feel disappointed if we "only" get to the playoffs and win a game or two.

wouldnt want to get to far ahead but i say cardinals
