January 28, 200521 yr My problem isthat after that doughy William Hung, half of the people auditioning were trying to be soooo bad. They are trying to achieve the level of "fame" that William Hung received. It's rather sad. It takes away from the enjoyment of seeing real people really suck and think they don't. Instead we get overactors trying to REALLY suck and be comical to get a shot to be on the next season of the Surreal Life on VH1.

I have turned off the show everytime so far this year, which this early in the game never happened in prior years. I loved watching people make fools of themselves... this year it seems so forced... :sleep

January 28, 200521 yr Maybe it was just me....but the last thing I would call LeRoy Wells is hillarious. Annoying...waste of time...maybe but certainly not hillarious. If you notice when it shows him walking into his audition youcan see some windows in the background. It's dark outside so it was probably an audition late in the day. After a long day he probably provided some comic relief for the judges but for me the viewer all i could think was "I know they have time to fill between those wonderfully informative snipets of Ryan Seacrest around town but this guy is just plain stupid." and think.....that guy actually had a 'posse'. Wonder what thoughts are running around those guys heads......... juddling
