According to today's Tribune, Kittle has a book coming out next month, titled "Ron Kittle's Tales of the White Sox."

That ought to be interesting... I'll definitely check it out.

One of my favorite players growing up. I met him one time in Spring Training, when they were still in Florida. Very friendly guy. I'll have to check it out.

definitely one of my favorite all-time sox. very cool guy, too. i remember waiting in line for about two hours for an autograph from him at chicago ridge mall in like 83 or 84. he was very cool for a guy who'd been gladhandling for a few hours.

I'll pass. Kittle was a funny enough interview as a player, but a whole book by him? I can't see it being very good.
