February 27, 200521 yr QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Feb 26, 2005 -> 10:15 PM) Tyson would be such a force if he knew how to score... He'd be getting his minutes and putting Kirilenko's, and Big Ben's, to a lesser extect, blocks average to shame... Is he not learning anything from the vets? I thought that's what we're paying Antonio Davis for... Once more, he does not need to score much to be a force. Edited February 27, 200521 yr by qwerty
February 27, 200521 yr well word has it that Tyson is really working hard on his offense in practice and he plans to add some more weight to his frame this off-season so maybe he can score some more next year... i personally dont mind his bad offense because of his amazing defense he gives us.

That's exactly how I feel. The guy leaves everything on the court. Plus the game of basketball is as much about the points you prevent as the points you score. I'd love to see a number like that, but it would be near impossible to figure out.
February 28, 200521 yr Tyson gets his points as a scrapper. He gets the tip-ins, alley-oops, and gets to thew FT line by getting tough Offensive boards down low. If he can get 4-6 more points a game, he'd be starting over Othella and AD.
February 28, 200521 yr Nah, that's not why he doesn't start. He doesn't start because if you put Tyson and Eddy on the floor to start your 2nd unit is Othella and AD and thats small and mediocre. To start Eddy scores AD plays the D. Off the bench Othella scores and Tyson bring the D.
