Build around Howard, Nelson, and whatever you get for Francis.

 

Francis is actually more of a winner than he is a loser (as opposed to guys like Stephon Marbury, Rod Strickland, etc), but he'll never get you that championship trophy. I could be wrong, but I seriously can not see it.

Any particular reason why he's been on 10 different teams in his career? The Knicks, Spurs, Trailblazers, and Wizards all got rid of him while he was in his prime.

 

Since he became a starter, his playoff record is 5-21. He has never won a playoff series in 7 tries...as the point guard running the show.

 

And of course, the s*** really hit the fan when he went to Orlando in 2000, as he was one of the primary reasons as to why they started 5-25. He was traded to the Trailblazers shortly thereafter, only to rot on he bench for the rest of the season. Since then, I know, he's old and all, but he continues to suck it up.

 

So, is he still a winner in your basketball world? I sure as hell hope not.

Look at some stats. They have always been turning the ball over at a high ratio and they have been doing fine for the most part this season. Losing deng and having nocioni start> turning the ball over.

OMG, I get home from midterm turn game on Noc misses free throw but Chandler tips it back and Bulls get it. Duhon at the line with a 2 point lead and 5.2 seconds left.

Did Curry play well? I noticed 7 turnovers but he also had 7 rebounds and 16 points and played 36 MINUTES.

 

So I'm guessing he had a solid game. On a sidenote, tonight Shaq had 0 rebounds in 26 minutes.

7 turnovers is unacceptable no matter what position you play. Center more so than any other position in my opinion. Seven rebounds in 36 minutes? He should easily have 10+.

Only 16 points against a team that has no inside presence is pretty sad to me.

 

But as you know i am a big fan of curry's.

Ya, I was just judging it on the minutes so I'm assuming he was doing something right today (maybe defense???). I didn't see EC play. The turnovers as usual are ugly. Him and Gordon both piss the hell out of me in that regard. The thing I can't figure out is for a stretch this year Curry was actually playing solid defense. I really don't know what happened, but since the Bulls defense has taken a drop I think you can singlehandedly put a lot of it on EC getting sloppy and having poor footwork.

 

You have to admit though, the 7 rebounds were an improvement, LOL. But yes two things stick out in regards to EC, the rebounds and the turnovers. Offensively he is quite good and regardless of what Skiles says, he can create his own shot. However, he does struggle against anyone with more size then him.
