Talk to the money men on that one :P

Contreas has no control. two hits batters and two walks.

Olivo K's. Bloomquist singles.

AJ does not appear to be knocking the cover off the ball this spring.

Force play to Uribe ends to inning. Finally interrupts whatever the hell Hawk is talk about.

Olivo K's. Bloomquist singles.

I beg to differ. I saw him play in Phoenix against the A's and he was nothing but solid all day.

Hawk and dj making fun of sprewell as contreras gets out of hte inning.

Olivo K's. Bloomquist singles.

my bad that was for u

Crede strikes out to start off the inning. Still looks like he has the looong swing. Uribe up now.

Uribe pops up to SS, Pokey Reese. Two down for our man Timo.

Timo hits a sharp grounder to second to end the inning. Still 4-1.

Don't know what you mean, but okay.

Winn ground out to Uribe, 1 out. Contreras looks solid today.

Neal Cotts, san beard, warming up in the bullpen. Jamal Strong: He gone! 2 down.

Hawk says Conteras is mixing his pitches up more, instead of just relying on the forkball. That's making him effective today. Spiezio strikes out to end the fifth.

Iguchi leads off the fifth with a sharp single.

He is. It's not splitter, splitter, splitter. He's still not getting ahead of every hitter but since he's mixing up his pitches much better he's way tougher to hit, looks pretty damn good to me so far. He's never going to have great control so he has to do what he's doing today and he should be fine, imo.

Everett pops up to center. Iguchi gets doubled off first because of the hit and run. Quickly, two down. Konerko up.

Konerko strikes out swinging.

Sexson leads off the sixth. Contreras still pitching. Lines it back to Contreras. 1 pitch, 1 out.

Valdez in at 2B. Gload in at 1B. Hawk & DJ still talking about that game Contreras pitched against KC. WHile they do that, Lopez hits a deep fly to Carl Everett. 2 Down.

Lines it back to Contreras should be in green.
