Are you or anyone going to put the answers in here for those who can't hear this?

I believe you will be able to listen to a recording of the live feed.

Thanks to all of you for helping us out, by asking questions, and PBC for the shout!

Kap

Hey guys, this is jeff, the co-host of Pro Baseball Central. I am sorry for the screw up where i first said "Sports Talk" instead of sox talk. I caught it as soon as I did it and made sure to correct myself and also that we mentioned your site right after.

So please accept my most sincere apology!

Thanks,

Jeff Lamana

Jeff, as a guy who did live radio in college... I understand. :)

Thanks to all of you for all your help for getting this co-ordinated.

Hey guys I hoped you like the show. Merkin kept talking and we had to go to break or we would have done the question about BMAC. But he answered the Willie Harris question himself.

So I think it went well.,

Give us some feedback.

Joe

Oh and the show will be arichived in a few hours. I will put up the link for those who didn't hear it.

Thank you very much for that. For some reason I hit the link and it only gave me an empty web page.

No biggie. We're just happy for the shout out. :)

It sounded like a profession baseball radio show, which is what we/I was expecting. Nice show.

I enjoyed the show. As a Sox fan, when you hear of a show or somebody planning on talking about Chicago baseball, you expect the majority of the show to about the team on the Northside. It's usually "Cubs this, Cubs that, and oh yeah the Sox did this."

You guys did a good job keeping it balanced on the show, and it seemed you guys gave the Sox their fair share of love. :)

It was also cool hearing all of our questions getting answered.

I am sort of wondering how you guys came upon the site....

Well I know it because I own the site Chicago Sports Day and one of your regulars - Ryan - writes for me.

Joe

I was not lying when i said i have a soft spot for the sox. My all time favorite player is John Kruk and of course he played with the sox for a small bit. Also one of my favorite Phillies Greg Luzinski dawned the softball uniforms for you guys. I ran down a short list but there are alot of ties to the Sox for my Phillies.

Thank you guys for the great comments. I am a radio rookie and still learning and getting my feet wet so thanks for bearing with me. Joe is the real star of the show.

Were getting butchered on an unnamed cubs board :)

Let me guess... NorthSideBaseball.com? :puke

I am just wondering if the show could run longer, possibly 2 hours? It just seems like 1 hour isn't enough time to talk about the Sox, especially with the interviews. I could talk about them for hours.

Yeah it does go quick and I wish it was longer, but we do the show out of pocket, so once a week is what we can afford right now.

Once the show takes off we will consider doing another night.

Joe Mac, did you get my email?

about how long will it be until the people like me who missed the show can listen to it?

archive please fast joe =)

No I didn't. Send it to JoeMcDonald@nysportsday.com

Also if you want a different book - like Aces (on the A's of last year) or Our Red Sox, instead of Cub Nation, tell me and I will send you out one of those instead.

Joe

Hey guys, I hope you will keep listening. We'll get better as we progress. We have two good guests next week, Jim Caple from ESPN and Mychael Urban who is the MLB.com beat writer for the Oakland Athletics.

If you guys don't mind much, can we come back and let you all know about our shows?

I am working on an interview with former White Sox Manager Gene Lamont for the coming weeks...

I wouldn't have much problem with it. If you're going to post one that isn't really related to the Sox there's always the Sports Bar too.... :)

Gene Lamont? Sweet. :gosox3: I didn't know he was in the Phillies' organization now...

It would have been a White Sox vs. Expos World Series in 1994. :crying

Cubs nation?
