Bears sign WR Eddie Berlin

Recommended Posts

Not a bad pickup.  He's very quick, has solid hands and in my opinion is a definate indication that the Bears are leaning to RB in the 1st round.  Definately a good addition to the WR core.

Not so sure about that. Berlin is just a slot WR / returner at best. I doubt he has much bearing on what position we draft.

The Bears on Wednesday signed unrestricted free agent wide receiver Eddie Berlin to a one-year contract.

The 5-11, 195-pounder was a reserve receiver and special teams standout in four seasons with the Titans after joining Tennessee as a 2001 fifth-round draft pick out of Northern Iowa.

Berlin is expected to compete for a backup job with the Bears.

Bobby Wade

Bernard Berrian

Eddie Berlin

Justin Gage

We could still draft a WR.

Berlin has great hands and is a solid player, (in my opinin) Runningback first round quarterback 2nd round.

Sorry I have to disagree, the Titans are my 2nd favorite team and the guy keeps fumbling kick off returns, yes he's fast but that's about all he's got.
