Closser grounds out to Iguchi.

Carbahol hitting. He grounds out to Uribe.

Truly the dog days of ST.

Let's get the season started already.

Top of the order. Barmes singles in a run. 3-0 Rox.

Atkins grounds out to Uribe. Don't know what happened right before that. On to the 5th.

Defensive changes for Rockies. Not keeping track, sorry.

Rowand leading off. Hits a squibbler to first base.

Sox haven't had a hit since the second inning.

AJ hits a long one to CF. The wind keeps it in the park.

Just noticed that we are playing at Hi Corbett Field. Pedro Cerrano hit some monster shots here. Still have visions of Willie "Mays" Hayes dancing out in front of the park.

:D

Joltin' Joe Crede strikes out. :headshake

End of the inning.

Not terrible, but they're hitting him. I ain't worried about him. He looks healthy, and if thats the case, expect the usual this year.

Two hits in a row off Buehrle. Holliday picked off second.

Bout like you'd expect after a week and a half off in spring training. Their good hitters got hits when he left stuff over the plate. There were a couple of bloop hits in there.

Most important of all of course is that he looks completely healthy.

This may be his last inning. He was expected to go either 5 or 6 today. He was just fair today IMHO.

That is most important I expected Mark to give up a few hits since he hasn't pitched in 10 days

Was he as sharp as he was before? No, but it was expected.

He just really looks like a guy making a start after some time off.

I know that is stating the obvious, but that about sums it up. He looked fine, all things considered.
