Leo Daigle-

groundout to third 1 down

Hernandez is a kid a lot of people like, especially Phil Rodgers. I remember him comparing Hernandez to Pudge.

Big year for him ahead, if he repeats his numbers of what he did at Bristol, or comes close, he easily leaps ahead to one of our top five prospects. We're pretty thin at catcher, but if he or Donny Lucy can play (both are solid defensively), we'll be in good shape...

Bottom of 6th. 7-4 bad guys. Fabio Castro latest Sox pitcher.

thanx u da man

Top of 7th now. First out on a first pitch liner to center by our catcher Hernandez. Chacon still pitching for Rockies. 2nd out was a strikeout. 3rd out a groundout by Valido.

Cliff (get ready to duck) Politte in for Sox.

Cliff (get ready to duck) Politte in for Sox.

Is he facing righties or lefties?

Corey Sullivan leads off with fly out to Sweeney in right. 1 out.

Reggie Taylor is the second out on grounder to Daigle at first. Rockies threatening to go 1,2,3 for the first time.

Flyout to left. Politte retires the side. One thing I heard earlier was that Garcia was not 'popping' the catcher's glove. Hopefully he didn't care to. :huh

Glad we're playing a lot of the minor leaguers today. Are the regulars out of the game already?

David Cortez pitching for the Rockies. Jerry Owens, leading off for Sox, pops out to the 3rd baseman.

That would be fine if he didn't care to. Hopefully, he'll be popping it next Wednesday!

Lane Berry with the duck snort. One on one out. Harris hitting for Perez.

Harris singles to right. Berry with good wheels easily makes it to third. 1st and 3rd, 1 out. Daigle then swung and missed the first pitch and it got by the catcher. Run scores and Wee Willie to 2nd. Then single by Daigle scores Harris. 7-6 with runner on 1st and 1 out. Sweeney up.

Sweeney bounced it over the mound and the Rockies 2nd baseman and shortstop played Alphonse and Gaston. Scored a hit. 1st and 2nd, 1 out.

Young with the backward K on a curve. Up to Francisco Hernandez.
