Wizzards lose

Featured Replies

Thanks to Indiana, the Bulls are now in possession of the coveted 4th spot for home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. There still remains another head-to-head matchup with the Wizzards in DC, and I think that is the biggest game remaining for the rest of the season. All the Bulls have to do is get 1 more victory than Washington from this point on, and they will assure themselves of that home court advantage. It looks like the 4/5 matchup has all but been decided based on the current standings. The only ? is who will have the home court advantage. Let's keep it up, Bulls!!!

*Another note: With the win, Indiana has now passed Cleveland in the standings (the virtual tie is broken, because the Pacers lead the season series 2-1). Wednesday's game in Indiana could very well decide who plays Boston and who plays Detroit.

You're welcome. :D

Wow, that is awesome! The Bullies have come a long way this year. :D

It's about time they lost. Seemed like we were the 5th seed forever. I really believe the game we have left with them in Washington is gonna decide who ends up with the 4th seed. I still can't believe it's April and we're talking about home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. AMAZING!

Eddy vs. Brenda Take 2.

Should be a great series if it does happen though. The Bulls are really going to have to be at their best defensively to clamp down on Arenas and Hughes.

lol@brenda....Don't forget Jamison. I'm assuming he's gonna be healthy come playoff time.

Jamison basically is the 3rd guy in the offense, who becomes relied on if Hughes or Arenas ain't lighting it up. Gilbert is an expert at getting to the FT line, and Skiles will have to be very weary on this. Down low with Brown, Jeffries and Haywood, they're vulnerable though, unless those 3 play at their best.

I'm leary of the matchup simply because Arenas is so insanely good at penetrating (plus he can shoot) and Hughes has been playing like a man posessed this year.

Wizards defense = swiss cheese

I had them making the playoffs this year with 43 to 45 wins and just about nobody agreed with me due to their 03-04 record (including major publications, which more often than not had them sucking like none other), but now I find myself telling people that they're not as good as they think.

Anyway, if the Bulls can't take the Wizards in a 7 game series, that would be pretty sad (backcourt mismatch or not).
