April 12, 200521 yr Good news for us, even if Westbrook was bombed in his last start. Elarton at best is the 5th starter for them, and we all saw how bad he was in Colorado for the early part of 2004.
April 12, 200521 yr This is a bit encouraging. This 6'8, 240 pounder really doesn't have impressive stuff. This guy just gets rocked. That said, here are his stats against our belov'ed White Sox: 6 games, 3 game starts, 1 win, 0 losses, 1 CG, 1 SHO, 21.1 IP, 19 k's, 2.57 ERA, 0.90 WHIP.

He's definitely not going to post Santana like K numbers that's for sure (that said, he posted the most K's against us out of any team last season, 13 in 15.2 IP). And Righties absolutely crushed him last season, .306/.352/.548, so the White Sox should keep this in mind.

Hopefully, these new-look Sox will get to him early and often. I'm not predicting anything, but an early exit for Mr. Elarton is a very good possibility.
