April 24, 200520 yr So far the White Sox are living proof of why some people believe OBP is just a bunch of crap (HAWK) I think that OBP is a good stat, in evaluating players, however I don't think it should be the only component when evaluating players. As already stated, the OBP will go up when Rowand and Dye come around, and when the Big Hurt comes back to town. CWSOX45
