If KC had 4 lefties coming up in a row, I would have had no problem with Cotts staying in there.  However, Ozzie played right into Pena's lineup by leaving a lefty in to face 5 straight righties.  Lets just hope Vizcaino can get out of this inning without allowing the run to score!

Cheer up man....We're 13-4. Your posts are depressing.

Strained hammy.

Yikes. How bad?

Buck grounds to Crede. Inning over. 2-1 SOX heading to the 8th.

Cott's is marginally better against righties.

isnt this guy Sisco from the Scrubs farm system?

Nice to see that the Cubs didn't keep Sisco. He sure looks to have some dynamite stuff.

Cubs lost him as a Rule V draftee.

Rowand should PH for Gload here.

The Royals claimed Sisco from the Flubs via the Rule 5 Draft. Boy, they look stupid now.

Sisco > LaChoke Hawkins

Uribe shoots one into center, single, 1 on, 2 out. Gload up.....PH = ARow.

What pisses me off is that the 0-2 pitch by Contreras to DeJesus that was called for a ball was much, much closer to the plate than the pitch that Dye was just called out on. I heard the Crede called 3rd was poor as well.

Ever notice that just about ALL of Hendry good moves have been in situation where

a.) Small Market team dumping salary (Lee, Ramirez)

b.) Players aren't wanted on their team any more (Karros, Garciaparra)

?

I can see why the Royals value Sisco so much.

Have a feeling Rowand will chase anything on the 3-2 here.

Damn this Sisco guy is pretty impressive

Rowand has absolutely no flexibility at the plate right now. Every swing is the same no matter where the pitch is, and he's not bending his back at all.

Amazing...

Rowand stays in CF. Remember the last Rule V guy we faced with KC? Asencio.........16 straight balls!

Wouldn't mind seeing Hermanson in to start this inning. I wonder if Marte will come in for DeJesus?

I gotta feeling Hermanson will be pitching the 9th.

Graffanino ground it to Gooch, 1 out. Terrence Long on.
