May 9, 200520 yr Just heard this on the Tigers' home station, didn't catch the exact injury, something arm related. They said it looks like he'll be out 4-6 weeks.
May 9, 200520 yr Wow, things not going well for them. That tends to happen with 35 year old closers who've shown a recent tendancy to break down.
May 9, 200520 yr For the Tigers its a good thing its not his hip. Thats supposed to be really bad. They thought it was career threatening a year or two ago.

May 9, 200520 yr So now it’ll be between Urbina and Farnsworth to close games out for the Tigers? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I would guess that Farnsworth will be the setup man and Urbina will close.
May 10, 200520 yr NO !!!! I drafted urbina in a late round and held on to him all year, and released him last night. Here's hoping he can clear waivers and I can get him back .
May 10, 200520 yr But the tigers had so much better of an offseason then us... Hilarious that their two big name aquisitions are on the DL...
