Call me crazy, but I'm more concerned about the man's health above anything else...

yeah thats what im thinking, the guy has a heart problem that is obviously really serious and could possibly ruin his career..... but lets just keep making jokes about him :chair

What JR is saying is speculation. E-City will be just fine and then you could go on about cracking stupid jokes about him. We'll know before it's contract time. I guarentee(I'll even ban myself from this place for a year) that Eddy Curry will be back playing basketball next year(in the NBA). You could bookmark this page if you want to.

Curry Backers: STAND UP FOR YOUR MAN!!! NOW!!!  ;)

healthy or not. curry or chandler do not deserve the max. If curry is healthy I see know true justification to offer Tyson a higher contract than Eddy. Remember how great the high energy chandler became once playoff time arrived. He was more busy trash talking and cheap-shotting Brendan Haywood, rather than being consistent. He might have had good stats, but for those who actually watched the series know that Tysons' imaturity hurt us BIG TIME.

I worry that this is JR's spin to resign him and discourage other teams from offering that not quite max contract

I doubt it, you don't spin a man's health, ESPECIALLY if it's a heart condition....

I hope he gets back to health.....it would be a shame for his career to end so prematurely.
