Charlotte made a pickup for a big right handed bat. Guy is like 6-5 and used to play football down south. I hear he's got a hell of an eye and can really rake. Any idea who this mystery acquisition might be?

I would have guessed Joe Borchard but you said that they picked up a guy who has a good eye and can rake.

Who ever it was got a hit in their first at-bat.

That's nice but I'm not so sure he will ever pan out in the majors.

Was it a single?

He's got a single, a double and a walk and scored 2 runs.

Hitting .667

Call me crazy, but I see this guy sticking in the big leagues. Maybe, with enough hard work, he might get an All-Star nod or 2.

MVP award? That's a bit much. 2? STOP YOURSELF!

Man I sure hope the Sox decide to bring this guy up... he looks like he could be a good one....
