Faces - the first one that is refered to as "First Steps" but in reality carries no name but uses the old band name "Small Faces" on the cover, and the picture is of the band sitting around Ron Wood reading a magazine (book?) with the title "First Step" on it.

Just curious, are you going to see them play Friday at the Q101 block party? Theyre playing with Hot Hot Heat and Interpol, I know I'll be there :headbang

BTW, I like that new Transplants song! It's got a cool slow-ish groove to it, kind of like ( I know this is too easy of a comparison, but I think it does fit ) a later-era Clash vibe.

How's the rest of the disc? Stylistically, I mean - I KNOW you're gonna rave about how good it is! :D

...you shameless street teamer, you... :P :D

Wow a Tim Armstrong band Clash comparison, how original. :P

The new Transplants is f***ing sick. Armstrong rips off a s*** load more Ska songs along with some Rob Aston rap mixed in. So you got the good old punk ska with rap and hard rock intertwined, it's some of the most original s*** you're ever gonna here. This band just continues to kick ass.

Well, if he'd FINALLY stop dipping into the "Clash Well", the comparison might not be vaild anymore.... :P
