Wow, if I have to explain that was a joke, then I'm not sure what level of intelligence I'm dealing with here.  It is something though that Politte showed more creativity when he was batting than any of our batters have done in a long time.

Why do you seem so surprised that someone laughed at your joke?

why not let politte finish it?

Gee, I'm glad to see the D-Backs are trying to win tonight.

3 hits so far. And they had some scrub starting the game. Thanks, jerks.

He is one of your top relievers...

Save his arm for the series against San Diego.

If you pitch him too much in a blow out, he won't be available tomorrow

So we can let the lesser pitchers get some work and maybe some confidence.

I always thought that particular icon wasn't in favor of that particular post. If I am wrong, then I feel like a dumbass and will edit my post obviously.

No reason to waste Politte here when you have Jizzcan and Shingo to mop up in garbage time.

Edit away my friend. LOL still means LOL.

From Yahoo.Com's Box Score Update:

Game Notes

CHICAGO'S AARON ROWAND EXTENDED HIS HITTING STREAK TO 13 GAMES WITH A DOUBLE IN THE TOP OF THE FIRST INNING.

COLORADO'S MATT HOLIDAY LEFT THE GAME IN THE TOP OF THE FOURTH INNING WITH A SPRAINED RIGHT FINGER.

CHICAGO PITCHER DAMASO MARTE LEFT THE GAME IN THE BOTTOM OF THE SEVENTH INNING WITH A SORE LEFT BICEP.

Uh-oh on K-Marte. Hope he gets better.

I like it that Hermy might get another night off...

All eight position starters have at least one run (+ Pods and Angry Politte) and one hit (+ Duque and Politte)

Ozuna 3-5

Gooch 1-3, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SF

Rowand 3-5, RBI

Carl 3-4, 3 RBI

JD 3-4, 2 RBI

Uribe 2 RBI

Well, I apologize for the confusion also. I'm just going to delete my post about explaining it was a joke.

Is this the first time the sox have broke into double digits?

No, we scored 10 at Toronto.

Sat 5/7 - WS 10, Tor 7 (source - Yahoo.Com WS Team Page)

Yep! This plus the Toronto game (already reported by fathom) are the only two games the Pale Hose has scored 10 runs or more.

Small ball indeed!!!

I can see Shingo pitching the 9th, since the Sox have a day off tomorrow.

Any word yet on the rotation for the SD series?

Its the first time we score 5 runs or more in one inning. I think DJ said we are the last one to that in the majors, amazing...... :gosox4:

THERE IS A GOD!!!!

wow what a game for the sox finally a sweep.

They have El Duque listed at 4 ER today. I don't think all of those were earned, were they?

Vizcaino threw a lot of pitches that inning. I think it's fairly obvious that he's never getting out of the mop-up role this year.

I like the way our bullpen looks, as long as we get one more solid reliever. Get it done, Kenny.
