June 9, 200520 yr I think they said bicep soreness. I saw him shaking his arm in Toronto and thought something may be wrong with him then. Hopefully this isn't very serious.
June 9, 200520 yr Author i guess that could be why his fastball wasn't so fast last nite. i also have seen him shaking his arm. i really hope he's healthy and gets back to old form. even w/ cotts pitching good, not so sure i'd want him as the top lefty in the pen. might need to look for another.

I also think the radar gun was sketchy. Polittes first couple pitches never reached past 91 MPH, then he threw a 94 MPH fastball, then back down. I dont believe the numbers they put on TV much anyways.

Its the bicep, and they are re-evaluating him today. The slowness in his pitches last night were definatley the speed gun as Polite was topping off at 90 MPH on his fastball.
