June 9, 200520 yr What about trading for Eric Hinske of the Blue Jays? He can play both 3rd and 1st and is the odd man out right now because of Koskie and Hillenbrand. He is a lefty with some Pop and we need a left handed hitter for balance issues.

But i agree, this team doesn't need much. I would love to get an extra reliever because i don't trust shingo. But besides that, i'm willing to keep what we got.

June 9, 200520 yr Why not just Hillenbrand? Ibelieve they even have another young 3b man on their roster outside Koskie, Hillenbrand, and Hinske. One or 2 of them have to go. We need to upgrade at 3b if were going to go for it, I'm open to any ideas.

One or 2 of them have to go. We need to upgrade at 3b if were going to go for it, I'm open to any ideas. Hillenbrand is one of the best hitters in baseball right now. Doubt they would do that though I would want Hillenbrand for sure.
June 9, 200520 yr Shea is a complete stud, watched him play last season a lot in AZ and knew he was gonna be a big guy for them. Then they up and traded him to Toronto for one of their top pitching prospects, thusly i don't think the Jays wanna lose him. Edited June 9, 200520 yr by doUrememberwhen
June 9, 200520 yr IIRC, Hillenbrand was a bit of a mess defensively, but I'm not sure. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 4 sure he had troubles last year @ third but again to the next season factor, he is very good @ 1b.
June 9, 200520 yr See, any trade made during this season isn't about next year. It's about this year.
