I agree with you but I dont think Konerko is a sure. Unless francona takes him I dont think the fans are gunna vote him in, but if he does make it he will probaly be in the homerun derby.

The White Sox will probably get four All Stars this year Garland, Buehrle, Hermy and AJP.

I know that few of us would pick him ot go but maybe he gets in on rep the wasy Loaiza did last year. Just wondering. If we have the best record in baseball then they HAVE to give us 3 I think.

He's put up some great numbers so far this season and does have a reputation throughout the league. After looking at the numbers, David Ortiz is the obvious starter at DH but behind him is Carl Everett and Travis Hafner. Hafner has a giant OBP compared to Carl and 1 more homerun. Everett has 9 more RBIs but is batting 16 points lower than Hafner. If they do carry a 2nd DH, it could be a toss up between Hafner and Everett.
June 21, 200520 yr looking at the vote totals, our most deserving position player (Gooch) stands no chance. he's about a million votes behind Brian Roberts and Alfonso Soriano (I'm not kidding). unless he's picked by a manager, he won't go. Hermanson is 17/18 in saves, and Garland and Buehrle should be picked to go, maybe even Contreras. maybe Contreras.
