June 22, 200520 yr I was very excited when he became the Sox mgr since he was my fav player as a kid.. I got to meet him last year at a club in downtown Chicago he is such an awesome guy.. I feel that he is the best Sox Mgr ever he has done just a tremondous job the last two years

June 22, 200520 yr Author Larussa should have won more with the talent he had on his ballclub... Lopez was a loser anyone who doesnt put his own player in the HOF shouldn't even be consider.. June 22, 200520 yr Yah, and we essentially ran LaRussa out of town. I try not to think about what the fans think about the manager. I look at the results. While I wouldn't say Ozzie is the best we've had, I think he's done a fine job...regardless of what some say around here.

June 22, 200520 yr Sleepy or not, Lamont was blah. Hence why he is yet to find another managing job since getting canned by the Pirates 5 years ago.
