That ball only needed another foot on it and it would have been out of his reach. I thought he was gonna miss it anyway, he looked out of place .

The momentum will be dictated by White Sox pitching. If Contreras and whomever comes in can get the job done, Sox have an excellent chance of coming back.

 

The only guy in that bullpen who scares me is the kid ... Rich Hill. Nasty lefty and he's a strikeout pitcher. He'd probably be able to pitch today if needed.

I feel pretty good about this game. 2 runs with the way we are swinging the bats is NOTHING. Yes, it is too bad Crede got robbed, but the Cubs pitching does not look good. Facing Maddux is just as good as their pen right now IMO.
