has there ever been no hitters in the same game?

I believe it happened once a long time ago where one team won in extra innings. There's something in the hall of fame about it.

Not exactly. Harvey Haddix pitched a perfect game yet lost in extra innings. The other pitcher didn't throw a no-no, just a shutout.

Thanks, Pablo. Before him, nobody had a hit and only Konerko and Rowand saw more than 4 pitches.

haha Balk Balk Balk

Two out magic here, make him work.

Prior gets called for a balk. Ozuna advances.

Why not? He has the second best (behind Widger) BA on the team.

sPod grounds out to Walker. End of the inning.

Him and Widger are not everyday players. They wouldn't qualify since you have to have 3.1 at bats per game.

And Pods wastes very little time in getting an out. Prior's pitch count must be like 35.

Korey screws up with a bunt and grounds out. 1 away.

Yeah we need him to get that pitch count up there. But I guess he did throw like 130 pitches against us earlier this year so it probably wouldn't matter unless he was in trouble anyways.

I'm not talking about BA for the league lead or anything.

.303 in 66 ABs isn't like its nothing tho.

Neifi with the infield single.

That's averaging less than an at bat per game. Sure it's something, but if you were asked on who would get the first hit of the game against Prior, Ozuna would be my 2nd or 3rd to last guess.

Lee 5-4-3 DP. End of the inning.

Wow, Lee GIDP. Never thought that would happen.

Bold prediction: We're scoring this inning.
