Didn't James Baldwin win the 2000 ASG for the Sox????

Yes, I believe he gave up a run in 1 inning though.

Would it be wrong to say that Arod looks like GayRod with those white shoes?

yes it would. Use another word. Don't insult our gay friends by comparing them to ARod.

yes, JB won the 2000 game, but gave up a homerun.

Derreck Lee doubles to lead off the 4tg.

Great, now Santana will come in and fall apart.

Since I care. Kill them White Sox.

Johan Santana in BTW. And yes, as we all said, Baldwin did win that game in Turner Field:

Note: In that 2000 ASG, there were 6 current/former White Sox players on the AL team:

Robbie Alomar

James Baldwin

Ray Durham

Jermaine Dye

Carl Everett

Magglio Ordonez

Santana was a one year wonder.. he shouldnt even be an all star except Minnesota has nothing else to send to the game

Who was the pitcher that let Ripken get the homer off of him in that game?

Except of course he's leading the league in strikeouts, and Nathan is also there.

Santana looks bad.

Nathan's in the game. Don't count Santana out either, he went nuts in the 2nd half last year.

I'm hoping for a santana injury here...

Ohhhh wow strike outs... hes still 7-5 with a 4.00 ERA basically..

Nathas is really the one that doesn't deserve to be there. He's completely living off of his 2004 year.

I'm not so sure Santana belongs in the ASG. 7 wins with a near 4 ERA? There's a lot more deserving starters than that.

PS, WHERE'S JON?

That was 01 in Safeco and it was the great Chan Ho Park.

This game is moving right along...

I wouldn't call him a 1 year wonder, cause he's still damn good. But I don't think he's as good as he was last year. Then again, not many pitchers have years like Santana did last year.

I know Nathan is in the game.. both those Twins dont belong there.. Hermanson shoulda been in before Nathan, without bias, and I think most would agree.. but Santana isnt having an all star year, thats what I meant

Brian Roberts hase a s***load of range. Santana gets out of the jam. To the bottom of the 4th, 3-0 AL.

Joe Buck is a total idiot.

I really, really hate him.

No he is a one year wonder.. he may be solid but I seriously doubt he has another 20+ win season with an era in the 2's
