Is A.J. Ok?

Featured Replies

Did anyone else see A.J. in the dugout after his homerun, grabbing his side like he was in pain? He caught the 9th inning, so I am guessing it was no big deal, but I was just wondering if anyone heard if it was anything serious.

He was just doubling over with laughter after the beating we put on the Royals...

Well I hope you are right! It sure was nice seeing some offense from the Sox even it was the Royals! :gosox1:

Ski, I take it you took care of the Jersey Curse problem? :D

It looked like he pulled something, then Coop started to call Widger, and AJ said, im going back in.

Yeah, I think Hawk said he tweaked his side of something. No biggie. If he needs rest, Ozzie will rest him for the whole week.

It's about time for AJ to get a couple days off anyway...Buehrle and Garland pitching tonight and Tomorrow, off day Thursday...and he's worked a lot lately.

I'm sure he's fine. More than likely he'll play tonight, with the Widge playing the day game tomorrow. Then AJ will have back-to-back off days.

He probably strained the muscle under his ribcage or his side abdominal with that homerun swing. He really golfed for that ball, and also had to pull his hands way in to hit it. I was thinking when they showed the replay that it looked kind of painful

OHHH NOO!! NOT ANOTHER AJ THREAD! :rolly
