What ever happened to the Pittsburgh backstop? I know he was a very highly touted prospect in their organization, ranked first--if I'm not mistaken.

Didn't they release him after that surgery? If so, did anyone claim him? Does he still have a shot at making it?

If you scrape off all that burning, you got a tasty piece of toast.

Jason is either saying that JR could be a player again once the rust is off, or that he thinks JR is tasty if you skin him. I'm not quite sure.

Or maybe he's saying if you scraped the black burnt parts off of that toast, you could eat it and it would be mighty tasty. :D

Seriously? I didn't even think of that. :P

In answer to your question, he's trying to make it back in football. He's playing QB for West Virginia.

You know, I was gonna throw that suggestion out there, jokingly at first, but then I was gonna gauge your reaction and take it from there. But this works much better.
