Reese, Worrell and Gray out for the year

Featured Replies

The Bears defense and special teams performed exceptionally well in Saturday night's preseason win over the Colts, but neither area came out of the game unscathed.

Backup safeties Bobby Gray and Cameron Worrell and reserve linebacker Marcus Reese all sustained injuries that will require surgery and sideline them for the season.

Rex, Reese, Worrell, Gray...all on turf

Dont care much about Worrell and Reese but Gray was an important part of this team playing safety when Brown or Green needed a break or had an injury... I love his hard hits.

Ouch...those are some losses. Reese was a decent looking backup and Worrel was a solid special teamer while Gray was what I'd call a solid player that good lay the lumber.

Oh god. Please do not let this turn into the injury fest of 2004....I can't take it anymore!

This is the second time in what, his 3 pro years, that Gray has been out for the season.

Man, it is gonna hurt to lose Gray.

I hope they can get some salary cap relief and pick up someone near the end of training camp. (If that is possible.)

Who's going to take the third linebacker spot? I haven't payed nearly as much attention to the Bears in year's past, and that's odd, 'cause I'll be at the game on Friday. Are Joe Odom (sp?) and Hunter Hillenmyer going for the spot?

Oh, and Chad Hutchinson may not be good on the football field, but his wife? DAMN!

Hunter is gonna be the starting OLB.

Hutch as a hot wife? Wow, I always thought he was a f***ing ugly guy.
